     Mr. Martino – As a dedicated listener and follower of yours, I must give positive credit to one of the finest of the people on your referral list, Attorney Stephen Berken, and his team.

In September of 2010 I had to file a chapter 13 bankruptcy. After MANY sleepless nights, and much stomach medicine, I enlisted Mr. Berken’s services based on your referral list, and hearing his offerings of advice on your radio show. Before filing, I had a career, and paid my bills. I did live within my means; I made a very comfortable living.  Suddenly, everything fell apart. Long story short, I exhausted most of my resources, and was falling off the end of a financial cliff.   Mr. Berken truly saved what little dignity and possessions I had left. He always reminded me that I was a victim of a bad situation and not a bad person – you know – the “bankruptcy” stigma.    I honestly felt better after spending 15 minutes with his team. I realistically could easily write at minimum 10 pages of praise for the Berken team.     Please know (as you already do) that Mr. Berken made an uncomfortable situation bearable, and the end result is a fresh start and new beginning for me and for my family.  He even made my crying wife feel better.   Mr. Berken is – as you say – smart and aggressive, and was always in control of my situation.    If he were a surgeon, he would never have lost a patient. He is that good.   He is available anytime I contact him, he values his limited time appropriately, and he is conscious that his time costs money, and he makes every minute he works for you count. I easily could have written this after my first meeting with the firm, but held off until my case was approved. I expected some critical “glitch” during the process. There were none. I realize my case was more difficult than some, but that was not an issue for the Berken team. They fought for me and the end result is sleep and calm stomach. I recommend Steve Berken, and am very fortunate to have him in my corner.
